This animation is aimed at people with learning disabilities and/or autistic or neurodivergent people who have experienced sexual violence. It explains what happens when you report sexual violence to the police. The animation is co-designed with victim-survivors with learning disabilities and/ or autistic or neurodivergent victim-survivors.
These animations were co-designed by academics from Durham and Sunderland universities with experts by experience- DIVAS and the Women’s Centre Cornwall, Us Too and Association for Real Change (ARC- England). The animations were co-created as part of the research project Towards Inclusive Responses to Sexual Violence, which was funded by the Economic Social Research Council.
